POSTNUPTIAL, 78.20, wins at 9f on Crc grass

POSTNUPTIAL, dk b/br colt, Feb13-01 in FL, by Wm P Sorren, (Alydeed-Lovers Quest [Tridessus-EXCELLATOR by EXCELLER]) got the nod in a tight finish on wed Dec29-04 at Calder, at nine furlongs on the turf, returning a very generous 78.20 as the longest shot in a field of nine 3yo allowance runners. He keyed the very hefty gimmicks of a $667 exacta, $2,142 triple, and a whopping superfecta of $26,409!!!!!!!!

This one's running style of midpack positioning, coupled with a vigorous, gritty drive from the eighth pole home, marks this a horse to watch. He dug down and prevailed by a neck.

His dam, LOVERS QUEST, also produced AMOROUS SHREW and LOVERINEVERYPORT, by Ocala Slew and Blue Ensign, respectively.
